SkyScapes
Balloon Tours Specializes in Private Flights for Couples and
Families which means it will only be your party in the balloon
with the pilot.

We cater to You! and
Do Not lump you in with other guests like some of
the other company's do. We want you to have a great
experience with us and not be just another face in the crowd!
Escape to a totally different world aboard a Hot
Air Balloon and experience firsthand why balloons are referred to as
"The
Gentle Giants." Imagine the sight of a Florida sunrise as your
multi color balloon unfolds in front of you. Then ride the winds and view the
countryside and attractions beneath you or touch the treetops as you gently
float by. You will be amazed at the calming silence of the world above,
occasionally broken by a blast from the burner or a spoken word to spectators
below.

Your
flight of fantasy takes place just after sunrise, the most tranquil time of
day, and lasts approximately one hour. At times it is necessary to
reschedule due to adverse weather conditions. Balloons cannot fly in
fog, high winds or rain. If any of these conditions exist at flight time or
could possibly develop during the flight, it will be cancelled and rescheduled
at the next earliest and available opening.
We recommend
dressing comfortably in layers appropriate for the season. Don't worry,
the temperature doesn't change that much from when you are on
the ground to in the air (only about 3 degrees for every 1000 ft
in the air). Please wear walking
shoes and long pants that you do not mind getting wet in case of dew on the
ground.
The
morning of your scheduled flight you will meet your
pilot about one hour before your sunrise. We meet at a
pre-arranged
location from which you will be transported to the launch site. At
the launch sight the balloon is prepared for inflation, you may share in the excitement
of unfurling and inflating the balloon if you wish or just stand back and take
in the beauty. Once the balloon is upright and you board, your unforgettable
flight begins. In the air, soak in the beauty of the world as you have
never seen it before. Don't forget your camera and plenty of film!
After every flight we celebrate with a
champagne
toast, a tradition that started over 200 years ago with the first
balloonists. We tell how ballooning started and reminisce
about the flight we just had. We then top it all off with a First Flight Certificate for
everyone involved.
