our Champagne Toast, a tradition that dates back to the late 1700's,
as we celebrate our flight, much like the early pioneers of aviation,
out standing in the fields in which we land. After a brief
history of how ballooning started, we toast to the Balloonist Prayer a
blessing given to ballooning by an Irish Priest. |

The
winds have welcomed you with softness.
The
sun has blessed you with it's warm hands.
You
have flown so high, and so well,
that
God has joined you in laughter
and
gently set you back again,
into
the loving arms of mother earth.
